We Build Probiotics

Makers of conventional probiotics start with bacteria they find in nature and try to find uses for them.

We do the opposite.

We start with the problem we want to solve, and we build a probiotic to solve it. Each "ZBiotic" is designed to have a particular effect. We make sure of it by editing our probiotic's DNA.

How ZBiotics Are Made

Identify
probiotic bacteria that are part of the human diet
Isolate
these bacteria and evaluate their engineering potential
Bioengineer
the bacteria to solve a particular problem
Incorporate
the enhanced bacteria into beneficial products
